Our Animal Expo

On Monday, all of the grade 1/2s showed our projects to the rest of the school. In art, we made headbands to match our project. There were posters, dioramas, booklets and power point presentations. We set up our tables around the outside of our classroom. Jackson E, Lily and Heath sat out the front ready to show their power point presentation on the white board. Everyone stood with their project ready to talk to the grades when they came in. We were all very excited. The preps came in with their buddies first. Then it was the grade 3/4s and last the grade 6s. Mr Short and Mr Fisher also came in to look at our work/ Mr Fisher gave us fantastic stickers to go on our projects. Mr Short said that we did an AWESOME job! We had a fantastic and super dooper time at our Animal Expo!

L.E.A.P

L.E.A.P

As you are well aware, our great school aims to support our children in as many ways as possible. I am very fortunate to be part of that support team as an SSO.

As well as working in the classroom I run small literacy groups, under the watchful eye of Mrs Ross.

L.E.A.P (Literacy Enhancement Activity Program) is an activity based program designed to target different areas of Literacy.

The program is lots of fun and helps to build confidences in our kids to aid them in the classroom. Cheers Linda.
